Cappello di Pretemade by Candido winery is a a Typical Geographical Indication wine produced from 100% Negroamaro grapes. Wine produced with a circulation of 25000 bottles per year. The vine training system used is Guyot-trained counter-espalier with a final grape yield of 90 quintals per hectar.
This wine is made following this process: the destemmed grapes are macerated in stainless steel tanks for several days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is matured in small oak barrel for 6 mounths.
Cappello di Prete have a deep, ruby red colour with purple tints characterize this rich, spicy, vanilla flavoured wine. On the palate this first class wine is rich and full bodied with rounded velvety flavours.
